This self-designed and self-constructed dress draws inspiration from the apple plant (Pyrus Malus) in its bud stage, capturing its delicate transformation before bloom. The pink gradient mimics the soft hues of an unopened bud, while curved paneling reflects organic petal formations. Thoughtfully crafted, the seamless transitions in colour and structure embody nature’s fluidity. The silhouette, close to the body, mirrors the protective sheath of a bud.
